Now we will get to the Windows safe mode from the Windows recovery environment.
Step 2:
Select the Troubleshoot option from the winRE menu.
Step 3:
Go to Advanced options and select Startup Settings and Click on the Restart option to get a list of startup options.
Step 5:
Select F5 to enter the Windows safe mode with networking.

Check which driver is incompatible
The most basic thing is to understand which part of your OS is causing the system thread exception not handled error. We can access the Windows system log which tracks and records all system crash and BSOD error reports to identify the faulty driver or system event. Let’s check how we can open the Windows event viewer to check the system log.
Step 1:
Press Windows key + R to open the Run menu and type eventvwr. Press Enter to open the Windows event viewer.
Step 2:
In the Windows event viewer tab, locate and click on the Windows Logs option.
Step 3:
Click on the System option and now the complete list of recent events will be available.
Step 4:
Locate “system_thread_exception_not_handled” error from the list and see which driver is correlated with it.

Step 1:
Open the Device Manager from the Start menu.

Device Manager will show the list of all the hardware and the related driver. You need to navigate to the faulty driver and right-click on it. Select the Update Driver option.

Windows will ask you; how do you want to search for drivers. You need to click on Search automatically for updated driver software.
Windows will find the latest version of the selected driver and you can permit to update it.

Step 4:
From step 2, right-click on the faulty driver and select the Properties option.
Step 5:

Rename the incompatible Driver

Step 1:
Open the command prompt by entering cmd in the search tab of your Windows PC.
Step 2:
In the command prompt box, type C: (press enter) cd windows\system32\drivers (press enter) ren FILENAME.sys FILENAME.old
In the above code replace FILENAME with the file name in the error code.
Restore your Windows system to a previous version.
